Wauwatosa Spring Bird Tour at the Forest Exploration Center

Description

The City of Wauwatosa, in collaboration with the Forest Exploration Center, invites you to celebrate World Migratory Bird Day on May 14, 2022, at the center's Nature Trail, 1800 Forest Exploration Dr. in Wauwatosa. Observe, explore, and discover on two 90-minute hikes, beginning at 6:30 am and 8:30 am. The hikes will be led by Mark McNally, life-long birder and associate professor at the Medical College of Wisconsin. Mark will also address the significant threat that light pollution poses to migratory birds.

Binoculars are recommended but not required. All are welcome, but each tour is limited to 12 people and may fill up quickly. Accessible parking is available at the main entrance of the Forest Exploration Center but is limited.

The City of Wauwatosa is proud to have been recognized as a Bird City Wisconsin since 2020.
