We will start with a talk about Chimney Swifts from Barb Duerksen of the Wisconsin Society of Ornithology! After learning about all things swifts, we’ll watch the hundreds of Chimney Swifts come back to roost in the chimney around 8:30-9:00 pm.
Presented by the Vernon County Historical Society, the event will take place in the parking lot on the west side of the museum. Bring a lawn chair or something comfortable to sit in, and look up to the top of the chimney.
Free. Refreshments will be available for purchase. Cancellation due to weather will be announced on WVRQ radio and on the Vernon County Historical Society’s Facebook page.
