The Western Great Lakes Bird and Bat Observatory is accepting registrations now for the third annual Southeastern Wisconsin Conservation Summit, to be held at Forest Beach Migratory Preserve in Ozaukee County on November 1-2, 2019. The conference is designed to foster regional collaboration and networking by providing an opportunity to meet and listen to the people who are conducting terrific work in southeastern Wisconsin.
The two-day summit will include more than 40 speakers and focus on all topics environmental: past, current, and future research and monitoring, conservation advocacy, and ecological restoration being conducted in southeastern Wisconsin by diverse actors: area faculty and undergraduate and graduate students; staff members of nonprofit organizations, land trusts, nature centers, and county governments; landowners; consultants; and many other interested parties.
Registration is $35 a day or $60 for two days. Students are welcome. Due to generous sponsors, their registration fees are waived. Registration includes morning coffee, lunch and afternoon snacks.
